Wistlberg car park is a good starting point for this hike.

The route begins at the Wistlberg car park, where you take the bus. From the Igelbus Schwellgraben stop, follow the signs, Baummarder´ to the left in the direction of Reschbachklause. It goes along an old moat, and over a wooden plank bridge to Reschbachklause, where there is a bench to rest. For the way back you can follow the almost flat bike path towards Finsterau, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the wilderness of the national park.
