This route follows the former inner-German border from the Dreiländereck, where Bavaria, Saxony, and the Czech Republic meet, toward the village of Ullitz. The trail is characterized by a mix of unpaved forest tracks and sections of the historical Kolonnenweg, which consists of perforated concrete slabs.
