Best waterfall trails in Oy-Mittelberg

The Mittelberger Panorama Tour starts in Mittelberg in the Oberallgäu and leads through numerous neighboring communities on trails through the region. In Mittelberg, Oy and Faistenoy, for example, there is an opportunity to stop for refreshments after a successful journey.

This route follows Stage 7 of the Himmelsstürmer Route and links Oy-Mittelberg with Rettenberg. From the start in Oy-Mittelberg, the trail first crosses open meadows to Mittelberg before climbing to a panoramic path above the village. With views toward Grünten, Rottachspeicher, and the Nagelfluhkette, the route crosses Burgkranzegger Horn and then descends through forest and alongside meadows to Burgkranzegg. The stage then approaches Rottachspeicher and follows part of its wooded shoreline....

Outstanding route section in the Allgäu, Bavaria. The tenth stage of the Wasserläufer route is one of the longest, but also one of the best along the route. From Oy-Mittelberg it goes along incredible meadow landscapes lined with fantastic views and resting places.
