Head south from the town square to Hermannsau. Continue via Ochsenberg, "Maria Traum", Geyersberg and Merterberg and Solla back to Freyung. The waymark is a white 6 in a red circle.

From the town square in Freyung it goes over the villages Schönbrunn and Pittersberg to the forest "Langholz". Continue to the Ochsenberg corridor and the village of Winklbrunn. Along the Tyronbach and through the Leitenholz it goes to the Brücklmayr Chapel and back to the starting point. --- Refreshments Accessible by bus and train

On the circular hiking trail no.9 you go along the Pfarrsteiges over a settlement to the new cemetery at Schönbrunn. The path continues along the Bienenlehrpfa via the villages of Schönbrunn and Perlesöd to a forest meadow.
