Legendary Albextrem cycling marathon This route follows the legendary Albextrem cycling marathon, one of the oldest and most challenging cycling events in Germany. Designed exclusively for "racing bikes", this is an extreme test of endurance. The route is almost entirely asphalted and leads across the Swabian Alb. This region is famous for its challenging, "hilly" profile, which features a relentless succession of "crisp climbs" and very fast descents.
