Panoramic hike to the Lilienstein in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony. The hike can be started from the car park or from Königstein railway station. From there, take the ferry to Halbestadt (check prices and timetable). Follow the blue line in the direction of Lilienstein via Ebenheit to the plateau of the table mountain via the southern ascent. The summit plateau offers a magnificent panorama of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. You pass the Westecke viewpoint, the Lilienstein guardian, the Wettin obelisk and the Lilienstein. Descend via steps and ladders on the northern descent marked with a yellow/blue line. Once at the bottom, the path leads along the Kirchweg parallel to the Elbe until you finally reach Halbestadt.
