Panoramic tour through the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
This varied cycle tour starts in Rathewalde and leads along the Polenz river towards Bad Schandau, where the route continues along the Elbe on the well-developed Elbe cycle path. The route crosses the border into the Czech Republic and follows the Elbe cycle path to Dečín. Until then, the route was fairly flat.
Take a sharp right on the way back and a steep climb awaits you via Jaluvči. From the Czech Republic, the route now heads downhill back to Germany. In Königstein, the route rejoins the Elbe as far as Wehlen and finally returns to the starting point of the tour.
There is plenty of variety, great detours and various refreshment stops along the way.
