This wild and romantic nature hike leads through one of the most spectacular gorges in the Sauerland region, right next to Winterberg. The trail explores the Helletal Nature Reserve, following a diverse mixture of narrow, partly rocky paths, small bridges, and maintained forest trails. A central highlight is the passage through the deeply incised gorge, where water cascades over rocky steps, and the idyllic Bodensee (a small forest lake) at the valley's end.
