Route: Marienplatz - National Park Gate - Güntherweg - Olefbrücke - Zehnthof -Steinweg - Nierfeld - Wackerberg - Eifelblick Kreuzberg - Dreiborner Straße -Marienplatz
Follow only path no. 12, where the start of the hike is in Gemünd, Marienplatz. On the tour, you first arrive at the national park gate and then walk along the outskirts of Gemünd to the Olefbrücke bridge. From here, follow the path to Nierfeld and climb the Wackerberg from there. Once at the top, the Wackerberghütte (at the "Wackerberg Süd" site) invites you to take a break. You then hike steadily downhill on well-maintained paths back to Gemünd. A short detour (50 m) to the Eifelblick-Kreuzberg is highly recommended.
