Varied and popular circular hike in the picturesque Oleftal valley near Schleiden, North Rhine-Westphalia.
This circular hike starts in Schleiden-Gemünd and leads up the Eifelsteig trail and along the Dr Gerhardus trail towards Olef. A detour to the pretty little village is worthwhile. Afterwards, you soon cross the Olef and the path leads steadily uphill to the Eifel-Blick Kreuzberg. Up here you can enjoy marvellous views of the Eifel landscape before starting the descent to the starting point of the tour in Gemünd.
