The twelfth stage of the Sauerland Forest Route begins in the former workers' settlement of Ringelstein and first leads to the Brilon plain and the burial mounds. After the ascent to the Romberg, there are marvellous views over the landscape before heading towards Wülfte. You then walk along unspoilt paths through dense forests to the Alme stage destination.
