Aabachtal experience

Idyllic circular hike around the Aabachsee lake in North Rhine-Westphalia. This beautiful circular walk starts at the Kurhaus in Bad Wünnenberg and leads directly into the spa gardens. Here you can explore the barefoot path: a refreshing stream, bark mulch, fine and coarse pebbles or the mud pool - a special experience for young and old. Continue to the paddling pond, where you will find a wide range of leisure activities, including a climbing park, pedal boat hire and a playground with benches and deckchairs. The route then takes you to the game reserve and leisurely through the forest to the Aabachtalsperre dam. As the Aabachtalsperre supplies 250,000 people with drinking water every day, it is not possible to swim or go boating in the lake. After circling the reservoir, you return to the starting point of the tour on the other side of Lake Aabach.
