Ruhrpott Circular Route Zollverein Tetrahedron Railway Lines

Adventurous cycle tour in the Ruhr region near Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia. This circular route ecan be reached by bus and train (Gervinusstraße stop). For those arriving by car, parking is available in the city centre. There are also refreshment stops along the route. The route is therefore ideal as a day trip from Essen and the surrounding area. The cycle route starts in the Frohnhausen district of Essen. The route leads on excellent pavement through, among other places, the Zollverein colliery to the Rhine-Herne Canal and then onto the Bottrop tetrader. Passing Borbeck, the route ends at the starting point of the cycle tour.
