70 Simonskaller Weg

From the car park at the end of Simonskall, take the tarmac path in the direction of "Mestrenger Mühle". Then turn right over the Kall up the path. At the rest mushroom, keep right up the hill, at the bend in the path there is a nice rest bench with a view. Continue past the rest area at the Schaumeiler and up to Schmidt. Here you turn right at the rest bench downhill along the cow pasture. Where the trail enters the forest again is the well-equipped "Waldesruh" refuge. After walking a good distance along the wide hiking trail in the direction of Simonskall, the trail continues downhill along the single track (very steep). Once you reach the bottom, you pass the mill on the way to Simonskall, where you stroll along the road back to the car. The route is marked "70 Simonskaller Weg" throughout.
