This is the fourth stage of the Mühlenweg im Wiehengebirge trail, which covers a distance of almost 100 kilometres through the Osnabrücker Land region, the Wiehengebirge mountains and the Teutoburg Forest. The starting point of this section is in Venne and the hike ends in Belm. At just under 25 kilometres, this is the longest stage of the Mühlenweg in the Wiehengebirge. Highlights include the Krebsburg castle near Ostercappeln, two mills worth seeing and several erratic blocks and megalithic tombs. Overnight accommodation and refreshment stops are available.
