Stage 3 of the long-distance hiking trail "Mühlenweg im Wiehengebirge", Lower Saxony.
The Mill Trail in the Wiehen Mountains stretches over a distance of almost 100 kilometres through the Osnabrücker Land region, the Wiehen Mountains and the Teutoburg Forest. The third stage of the Mühlenweg starts in Engter and ends after around 20 kilometres in Venne. Once again, culture-loving hikers will get their money's worth: in addition to the almost obligatory mills, a number of imposing castles await. The highest point of the hike is the 155 metre high Kalkrieser Berg, also known as Schmittenhöhe. There are refreshment stops along the way.
