The hiking trail from Rulle to Bramsche leads over the highest point of the Hünenweg. The hiking trail begins at the pilgrimage church, which was known until the 19th century for the miracle of blood in Rulle. Since the Middle Ages, many pious pilgrims have made their way to the small village, which today belongs to the municipality of Wallenhorst.
This section of the route meets the River Hase again, which already ran at the start of the Hünenweg. This river played an important role for the town of Bramsche, as its waters powered the fulling mill of the Bramsche cloth makers in the 16th century. Today's clothmaking museum can be visited from the Hünenweg.
