This circular hike through the Harz Mountains starts in Altenau and leads to the following stamping points for the Harz Hiking Pin: Schwarzenberg (HWN 132), Förster-Ludwig-Platz (HWN 133), Jungfernklippe (HWN 221), Wolfswarte (HWN 135), Kleine Oker (HWN 149), Brander Cliff (HWN 134) and Morgenbrodshütte (HWN 146). The route can be shortened by skipping the detour to the Morgenbrodshütte. In Altenau there are numerous rest stops.
