A wonderful circular route through the varied Harz landscape. It starts at the car park on "Steile Wand Straße", but it is also possible to start at the Wolfwarte car park. However, this car park is very small.
The path is partly stony and overgrown with roots. It is possible to collect 5 Harzer Wandernadel (Harz Mountains Walking Pin) stamps along the way. There are refreshment stops in Torfhaus.
