This former Roman Limes fort is one of the best-preserved Roman military sites of the Upper German-Rhaetian Limes (defence wall) and attracts tourists time and time again. The entire complex is well worth seeing for those interested in history, especially the fort baths inside. The rest of the trail leads through the green forest and is easy to walk. You pass the Saukopf mountain and return to the Kapersburgweg trail at the height of the Marienbild statue.
