Versatile hike in the Allgäu High Alps, Bavaria.
The long hike leads along beautiful green mountain ranges, wide paths, and incredible views. The route requires good stamina, but the views are stunning at every turn.
From the valley station of the Nebelhorn cable car, the route leads along the Trettach River from Oberstdorf on a wide carriageway to the Oytalhaus. From there, the ascent towards Gutenalpe begins. The Stuibenfall and Himmelseck provide variety and great views. Great mountain cinema accompanies the further rise past other saddles and peaks to the Edmund-Probst-Haus, which offers incredible panoramas and unforgettable sunsets. Of course, you can also savor the hearty delicacies of the Alps in the house (please note opening times). The Nebelhorn cable car takes you back to the starting point.
