This route follows the impressive ascent to the Nebelhorn and links Oberstdorf with the striking mountain peak via a challenging but scenically stunning stretch in the Allgäu Alps. The hike first leads along the wild and romantic Faltenbach stream and through shady mountain forests up to the idyllic Seealpe. From there, the route climbs steadily over lush alpine meadows and past traditional alpine pastures until it finally reaches the striking summit of the Nebelhorn at $2224\text{ m}$.
