From Oberstdorf, the trail leads through the Allgäu Alps in the Oytal valley. Along the babbling Oybach stream, the route leads to the Stuibenfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Allgäu, where a fantastic natural experience in a beautiful mountain landscape can be enjoyed. After a short break at the Stuibenfall, we recommend extending the hike to the Käseralp. This short diversions is rewarded with a cosy stop for refreshments and a view of the Höfats from there.
There are several paid car parks at the starting point of the route.
