This fairly short loop leads from the Jenner mountain station via the Mitterkaseralm to the Carl-von-Stahl Haus. You can take the Jennerbahn cable car to the starting point (note timetable and prices). From there, the route is initially quite leisurely to the Mitterkaseralm, which is open seasonally, with a detour to the viewpoint on the Vogelstein.
Shortly afterwards, the route climbs gently and steadily until you turn sharp right just before the German-Austrian border and follow the border to enjoy the view from the Pfaffenkegel. From the vantage point, the route leads to the Carl-von-Stahl-Haus, which is open all year round (for overnight stays, please book in advance).
