Wonderful panoramic hike in the Berchtesgaden National Park, Bavaria.
The hike begins at the Jennerbahn mountain station with a detour to the magnificent Jenner viewpoint before the descent begins.
From the valley station in Königssee, you can take the Jennerbahn cable car to the middle and mountain stations (note timetable and prices). Via the Schneibsteinhaus, which is open seasonally, the route leads along the Königsberggraben to the Königsbachalm. You can also stop off here (open from mid-May to October). From here, the trail descends further to its destination - the famous Königssee lake. This is a great place to end the day.
