Panoramic alpine hike in the Bavarian Prealps at Walchensee, Bavaria. The route follows the trekking tour for crossing the Alps from Walchensee to Lake Iseo - "L1 Variante 'L1S'" of the German Alpine Association (DAV).
This hike can be reached by bus and train (Einsiedl bus stop) and there are parking facilities at the starting point for those travelling by car. The route is therefore ideal as a day trip from Munich.
