Best trails near Altlacher Hochkopf

Panoramic circular route in the Tölzer Land region in the Bavarian Pre-Alps. The idyllic circular route starts at the car park directly on Lake Walchensee. There is also a refreshment stop here with a wonderful view of the lake. The route leads along forest paths and along the babbling brook, always up towards the summit and under the shady canopy of leaves back down to the starting point. The route is not marked. This route follows the first stage of the Marvin Route and connects Lake Kochel with Seefeld. From Lake Kochel, the trail first continues toward Lake Walchen, linking two large pre-Alpine lakes in the opening part of the stage. Beyond the lake, the landscape gradually begins to change. The route continues via Wallgau to Mittenwald, while the broader valley terrain becomes increasingly framed by the mountains of the Karwendel.
