Popular circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
This hike starts in the centre of the village (Hotel Kollmerhof). First walk along the village road for approx. 50 metres before turning left into Haidsteiner Weg. Walk along this for 500 metres and then turn left. This is followed by a slight ascent through the meadow to the Buchberg. You continue along the edge of the forest and have a wonderful view of Rimbach and the Hohenbogen. The benches at the edge of the forest invite you to take a short breather. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and breathe in the fresh, clear air. After the short break, follow the edge of the forest to Bachstraße and back towards the centre of the village.
