The starting point is the village square in Rimbach. Take the Haidsteiner Weg in the direction of Kühberg. An easily accessible forest path overgrown with moss takes you to Kettersdorf. Liebenstein is soon in sight. From here, the ascent to Haidstein begins. Near the summit cross there is a pilgrimage church and a rest stop where you can take a break before continuing the hike to Ried a. Haidstein. The 1000-year-old Wolfram lime tree, a natural monument, is well worth a visit. The hike then leads back to Liebenstein. From there, you can take the familiar route back to Rimbach.
