Popular circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
From the starting point in the centre of Waffenbrunn, turn left after the church. Pass the cemetery and the hedge-lined path and take care not to miss the upcoming turn-off to the left along a small path. Staying on the path, you soon reach a forest road. Follow this to the left in the direction of Wolfsgrube until just before the boundary of the military training area. Turn left again here. After a small pond and a beehive, there is a shelter at the junction to the forest road. You only leave this again when you reach the tarmac road. Turn left here. Soon afterwards, the trail enters the forest again for a short stretch at the signpost. After this, Waffenbrunn is soon in sight again. The mountain road downhill takes you back to the starting point.
