Religious circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. Follow in the footsteps of angels and saints on the Ast meditation trail. The trail starts at the pilgrimage church in the centre of Ast. At St Nepomuk there is a fork in the path: to the left (towards the Frauenbründl Chapel) is the path of the angels, straight ahead is the path of the saints. The path of the saints is somewhat stony in places, whereas the path of the angels to the chapel is well suited for pushchairs and mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walking frames.
