The Čerchovsteig (Wm09) starts at the car park at the Waldmünchen youth education centre. From there, the trail leads through beautiful forest to the Czech border. If you wish, you can continue the hike in the Czech Republic and climb to the summit of Čerchov, which is over 1000 metres above sea level and offers great views of the Šumava from its viewing tower.
