From the tourist information centre, walk along Marktstraße to Schießl household goods. There, turn right into Morethgasse and walk past several viewing benches (view of the Hohenbogen) and a plague memorial cross up to the road in Vorderbuchberg. In Vorderbuchberg, turn right and follow the road to the settlement of Anger (hiking board, seating area), where you can enjoy a wide panoramic view. While the Nk1 hiking trail branches off to the left, keep to the Nk7 markings to the half-right and follow a tarmac road on a dirt track to a small wood (beautiful view of the pilgrimage church and Hohenbogen). Turn right here and walk along a dirt track to a farm and continue along the tarmac road through a wooded area to the fork in the road. After the fork (hydrant), turn right onto a dirt track (view of the Kaitersberg massif in the background with smoke pipes), which leads back to the forest. After walking through the forest, turn right to the village of Atzlern, come to the main road, follow it to the right to the end of the village and follow the Nk7/Nk12 markings to the left to Neukirchen b.Hl.Blut.
