Varied stage of the long-distance hiking trail "Goldsteig", Bavaria.
The stage starts at the pavilion between the hiking car park and Falkenstein. First a relaxing section of the trail to the Tannerl pilgrimage chapel in a tranquil forest clearing, then around the Postfelden lake - and then the highlight of today's tour begins: the Hölle nature reserve. After the quaintly carved signpost "Zur Hölle" (To Hell), you follow an approx. 4 km long, unspoilt route along the Höllbach stream, an extraordinary natural landscape. Shortly before the Fahnmühle mill, the Goldsteig trail leaves the Höllbach valley to immediately begin the ascent to the Leiblberg. In Aumbach, there is time for a well-earned break in a typical inn. Then it's downhill and uphill through wide forests and a marvellous meadow landscape, via the Perlbachtal valley to the Gasthaus am See inn, via the Hubmühle mill to the Schiederhof, a possible stage stop. Alternatively, the "natural holiday resort" of Wiesenfelden is 4 km away.
