This is the eighth stage of the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg quality trail, which runs for almost 160 kilometres from Beuron in the Danube valley to Lemberg and crosses the highest part of the Swabian Alb. The eighth stage starts in the Alb town of Ebingen and the hike ends in Meßstetten. Two real cultural gems await you along this challenging route: Margrethausen Monastery and Lautlingen's Staufenberg Castle.
