This route starts in the centre of Bonn, close to the university and on the banks of the Rhine. It follows the Rhine down to Rolandswerth, where there is a ferry to Nonnenwerth and then to Bad Honnef. You also pass through the town of Bad Godesberg, which lies to the south of Bonn.
