Best dog-friendly trails in Remagen

A lovely short loop that is fantastic to walk with dogs. Very beautiful forest with small streams and great views in between.

Charming, family-friendly walk in Remagen, Rhineland-Palatinate. This circular tour starts at the Auf der Neide car park and then leads through the idyllic forest. The route also partly follows the RheinBurgenWeg, Apollinaris loop and the Remagen forest nature trail. Highlights of the tour: - Old youth cemetery - Shady forest paths - Local flora & fauna

A short hiking route, but one that offers many beautiful discoveries along the way. The first third is along parts of the RheinBurgenWeg and the last third or so on the way back is along the Remagen A4 hiking trail.

A route that has a good balance of sunny field paths and secluded forest paths. Very nice to walk with a dog. However, please keep dogs on a lead within the golf course area, as the actual area towards the forest paths has a barbed wire boundary that is not always visible at first glance. And watch out for "flying golf balls" ;-)
