Panoramic circular hike near Rottach-Egern in Bavaria. It starts at the Wallbergbahn valley station. The path leads up to the Wallberg and to the Wallberghaus, where you can stop, rest and enjoy the fantastic view of the surroundings. It continues to the Setzberg and Daffenstein. Wonderful hike near Kreuth, Bavaria. A scenically marvellous and relatively easy mountain tour. There is a short wire rope belay on the mountain ridge. This route passes the Schwaiger and Ableitalm. Popular mountain tour from Kreuth, Bavaria. Less well-known than its neighbour Wallberg, but no less enchanting is the landscape around the Setzberg. However, the Setzberg is not accessible by cable car and does not have a panoramic restaurant. However, this makes the summit all the more attractive for an ascent. This stage is mainly characterized by a lot of forest. But from the Riedereckalm this clears up and gives a view of the Risserkogel and the Grubeneck. From the Risserkogel you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee. But soon you dive back into the shady forest and follow the hiking trail to the village of Kreuth. From Sonnenmoos in Rottach-Egern (740m) to Enterrottach (790m) and from there on the hiking trail to Hufnagelstube (960m). From there turn left on the tarmac road along the Schiffbach stream past the Rottachalm (1230m) and the Portnes Alm (1410m) to the Wallberghaus (1507m). Behind it, turn left onto the path heading south to the Grubereck. The first few metres are still rideable, but for the next few metres you have to heave your bike up.
