Ascent from Oberau to Farchant and up to the Enningalm (trail 256). The trail begins there (still trail 256) down to the Rotmoosalm. A very easy gravel path with lots of hairpin bends and no technical challenges. From the Rotmoosalm, a leisurely roll back via Ettal to Oberau.

From the motorway exit Eschenlohe (625m) head south. Always follow the forest track towards Höhenberg. In Katzental turn left out of the valley.
