Füssen has a great old town centre with lots of pretty little streets. The absolute highlight, however, is the Lech with its beautiful turquoise-coloured and crystal-clear water. The path along the Auepfad leads directly through the forest along the river to the Lech Falls. Less of a hike than a walk - good for doing a few kilometres but still giving your calves a rest.
