Varied and scenic cycle tour near Füssen in Bavaria.
This scenic tour leads from Füssen past the Alatsee and over/through the Vilser-Scharte, and on via Pfronten, Fallmühle, Grän, Haldensee, Weissenbach, Reutte and Pinswang back to Füssen. The route is predominantly on tarmac, otherwise on paved paths (gravel, crushed stone, rolling chippings) and is therefore suitable for touring and mountain biking (although not a typical MTB route) - this route is not really suitable for racing bikes. The ascent from Alatsee to Vils-Scharte has a steep passage with gravel or scree for approx. 100 - 200 metres; the following descent is very steep with gravel or scree. You will be rewarded for your efforts with marvellous views of the region.
