Ascent from Oberau to Farchant and up to the Enningalm (trail 256). The trail begins there (still trail 256) down to the Rotmoosalm. A very easy gravel path with lots of hairpin bends and no technical challenges. From the Rotmoosalm, a leisurely roll back via Ettal to Oberau.

From the motorway exit Eschenlohe (625m) in the direction of Höllenstein (630m). Shortly before the motorway exit, turn right towards Ettaler Mandl. Always follow the signs. After approx. 7km turn right steeply up into the forest, first on a cart track, later on a narrow path. You end up near Bärenbadflecken. From there, take a detour to the Soile Alm (1325m).
