Point to point
Annual running event in southern Thuringia. The Heldentrail is the ultimate challenge of the Südthüringentrail near Suhl. As the supreme discipline of the event, this demanding ultra trail leads over around 65 kilometers and 2,500 meters of altitude through the untouched landscape of the Thuringian Forest. You can expect a natural experience with a constant change of deep forests, wide meadows and technically demanding mountain ridges. In contrast to the shorter Giant Trail (47.5 km), which for many marks their entry into ultra running, the Heldentrail is aimed at experienced athletes in search of an extreme sporting experience.
