This circular hike at Bleiloch leads extensively around the southern tip of the bleaching reservoir and even reaches the height of the Rennsteig. The hiker stays on the Saale until Lemnitzhammer, then it goes through the romantic Sieglitztal up to the Rennsteig. Via Seibis you reach the Marienberg lookout point and then descend into the valley of the Thuringian Muschwitz. There you follow the Kolonnenweg down the valley. After crossing the connecting road from Lichtenbrunn to Lichtenberg, the Kolonnenweg becomes the Höhenweg and crosses two small side valleys before reaching Blankenstein. Via the Dreiländerblick, Arlas and the Haus am Wald we continue to Mühlberg. The romantic path through Mühlberger Schweiz leads back to Saaldorf via the Agnesruh lookout point.
