Start at the free car park on the north bank of the Mönchsteich pond. It goes counterclockwise once around this idyllic pond. Most of the way is under trees, which provide cool shade in the warm summer months. Beautiful views of the pond can be enjoyed from the east bank. The adventure golf course at the western tip is in nice for families and children, and there is also the Schleushorn for refreshment stops.
