This route starts at the train station in Plön on the Großer Plöner See and leads - past the Schöhsee - to Behl am Behler See, then along the fields and meadows to Timmdorf on the east bank. After the Schwentine has been crossed between the headlands, the route now runs a piece directly on the bank, which is overgrown here with an enchanting heather landscape. Between the Great Madebröken and Edeberg lakes, the route then continues into the Plön City Park, where you can also see the water tower. Back at the starting point, you can still visit the nearby castle. There are various refreshment stops in Plön and on the way.
