This relaxed circular hike starts at Mölln (Lauenburg) train station - so you can easily arrive and depart by train. First it goes through the wildlife park, admission is free, but if you want, you are welcome to leave a donation. You walk through the forest and once around the southern tip of the Lütauer See, then along the east bank of the Schmalsee to the north and through the old town back to the starting point. There are several places to stop for a break in the village.
