The route first heads west along the Malente Wildlife Park - this will be enjoyable especially with children. The sunny northern shore of the Dieksee lake is particularly beautiful, with wonderful views over the lake. The surrounding nature, the Holm forest, is also worth seeing. The Holmweg is followed and, with a bit of luck, grazing sheep can be seen. About halfway along, the path leads between two typical Holstein villages along the road (be careful with children!). This is compensated by a fantastic view from the wooden bridge that connects two lakes. The Timmdorf boat landing offers an ideal place for a rest; a spontaneous excursion with the "5-Seenfahrt" boat is also possible from here! The southern shore at the Spiegelteiche (ponds) is magical - a wealth of great experiences is guaranteed!
