Zschopautal-Radweg Etappe 1: Oberwiesenthal - Zschopau

1st stage of the Zschopautal cycle path from Oberwiesenthal to Zschopau This partial stage leads along the Zschopautal cycle path, which is often referred to as the “King's Path of the Ore Mountains”. It leads from Oberwiesenthal, Germany's highest town, via the town of Zschopau to Döbeln. This stage corresponds to the first part of this tour and runs from Oberwiesenthal to Zschopau. This bike tour is an official bike path of the Erzgebirge Tourism Association. Since the long-distance bike path leads through the wild and romantic Ore Mountains, the nature of the path is often unpaved and technically rather demanding - the route is therefore primarily suitable for off-road bikes such as mountain bikes.
