Beautiful lake tour in Saxony. This challenging route starts in Borna on the parking lot next to Bachmann's grill wagon. From there it goes north until close to the Witznitz reservoir, and then continues directly on the shore of the Haubitzer See, which blends into the landscape in two parts. You're already at the next body of water - the Störmthaler See, where there are several very nice bathing spots. The lake district also includes the beautiful Markkleeberger See, the Stöhna reservoir, the Rötha reservoir and the Kahnsdorfer See - a water landscape worth experiencing with many wild birds, wonderful views and also very nice camping opportunities. A very demanding bike tour, but it compensates for all the effort through the beautiful landscape.
